Beeswax is a virgin beeswax, crafted artisanally from the honeycombs of Apis mellifera iberiensis bees. It contains no additives or chemicals, ensuring its purity and quality. Its natural texture and honey-like scent make it an ideal product for multiple uses.
Beeswax is made up of a complex mixture of lipids and natural compounds, including:
• Esters of fatty acids and alcohols (approximately 70-75%)
• Free fatty acids (around 15%)
• Natural hydrocarbons (10-14%)
• Traces of propolis and pollen
At room temperature, beeswax is solid, but it becomes pliable at around 32°C and melts completely around 63°C. Its color can vary from light yellow to brown, depending on the bees’ diet and the filtering process.
Beeswax is obtained through an environmentally-friendly and artisanal process. Beekeepers extract the honeycombs from hives managed sustainably, ensuring the well-being of the bees and the biodiversity of the surrounding environment.
1. Melting with hot water to separate the wax from impurities and honeycomb residue.
2. Decanting and filtering, without using chemicals, to maintain its purity and natural properties.
3. Molding and cooling, resulting in blocks or sheets of wax ready for use.

It is shipped vacuum-sealed to preserve its intense aroma. To maintain its properties intact, the bee wax should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It is recommended to keep it in airtight containers or wrapped in wax paper to prevent the accumulation of dust and impurities. Due to its natural composition, bee wax does not expire, but over time it may develop a whitish layer called “bloom,” which does not affect its quality and disappears when rubbed or lightly heated.
